Red Church!

from Joseph Z Podcast · host Joseph Z

"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord". On today's Red Church broadcast, Ryan teaches about faith and how to gain breakthroughs in life. He instructs that faith comes by hearing, and it's what we believe God for and look forward to. He warns that there's a thin line between faith and anxiety, as such we must guard our hearts and be cautious about what we permit into our hearts. He references the Book of Hebrews 11:1 to demonstrate that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.  Learn more about Z Ministries by following the link below: https://linktr.ee/zministries  Again, he reminds us that Abraham was counted as righteous because he believed in God, as such, we must emulate him, and get into God's word to build our faith in Him. He informs us that God is aware of every one of our situations, and all He expects us to do is follow Him because He is not caught off guard by any of the difficulties we experience in life. Also, he cites the Book of Matthew 14:22-31 to elaborate on the importance of focusing our eyes upon Jesus, and not being distracted by our fears and anxieties in life just as Peter was distracted when Jesus commanded him to walk on water.  Ryan further makes us understand that one who's double-minded can not get anything from the Lord; he urges us to start believing today and call the things that are not, as though they were.  He then reminds us of the importance of reminiscing on our past breakthroughs and how God has shown up for us in desperate situations, as this will keep our faith strong in God in our present challenges.  Timestamps: 0:00 Introduction 02:16 What is Faith 05:12 Hebrews 11:1  06:57 Galatians 3:5-6 16:48 Matthew 14:22-31 26:29 Build Up Your Faith 28:19 Prayer: Conclusion September 22, 2024
