Red Church | Defeating a Counterfeit Anointing!

Joseph Z enlightens us about a counterfeit anointing in today's Red Church broadcast.  He references 1 John 2:27 to establish that two different anointings exist, the real and the false. He explains that only things of value get counterfeited, and counterfeit anointings spring from imitating or mimicking the original. James 3:15 further elaborates that the wisdom for counterfeit anointing emanates from earthly, sensual, and demonic inspiration. He also cites the Book of Acts 8:18 to highlight the characteristics of a false anointing, and how it seeks after its gain and does not glorify God. We're also made to understand that the intent of our heart is the catalyst for a false anointing.  Joseph further clarifies that God's word is the only instrument that can rightsize our mindset and guide us away from institutionalism.
