I'm blown away that we're almost done with this whole book, and I have to laugh at the fact that I almost accidentally read into the next section because I AM OVEREAGER OKAY. In this section, the girls are taken ranging and are assigned a meeting place that they have to get to on their own. It's a smart and brutal test, and they're allowed to accept help...but they're dealing with adults in the wild, and they need to be smart about who they're trusting to help. Turns out, shits even more real than normal, because war is about to break out and there are some roaming bands out and looking for trouble.
