Red Sox & Nationals kick off trade season, Padres & Tigers determine their deadline fate and Erick Fedde talks White Sox & Pop-A-Shot

The Boston Red Sox and Washington Nationals officially kicked off trade deadline season, completing a straightforward one-for-one swap this past weekend. The Nationals sent third baseman Curtis Mead to the Red Sox in exchange for pitcher Connelly Early, with both teams addressing organizational needs by swapping young talent. The question now is: Which teams will be the next to make a deal before the August 3 trade deadline?
