RED SOX POSTCAST- Brayan Bello Gets Banged Around & Sox Drop Finale to Braves

The Red Sox got roughed up by the Atlanta Braves with a 10-4 loss in the series finale at Fenway Park Sunday afternoon.  Brayan Bello didn't make it out of the 5th inning and took the loss. Spencer Schwellenbach earned the victory for the Braves, who took 2 of 3 in the weekend series. The Red Sox have lost 5 of 6.    -----It'd Been A While: Rafael Devers put the Red Sox in front by a run with a Grand Slam off Schwellenbach in the Bottom of the 3rd Inning. It's the Red Sox 1st Grand Slam since Luis Urias hit a Grand Slam at Yankee Stadium on August 19, 2023. It was Urias 2nd Grand Slam in 3 days. Red Sox hit 8 Grand Slams in 2023 and did not hit 1 in 2024.  It'd been 638 days between Grand Slams for the Sox.   -----Bello on the Bump: Brayan Bello had another rough out and was chased from the game in the 5th inning for the 3rd consecutive start. Bello gave up 2 runs in the 1st inning and a run in the 3rd. After Devers grand slam in the bottom of the 3rd that put the Red Sox up by a run, Bello gave up the tying run in the top of the 4th on an 2-out RBI single from Austin Riley.  Bello gave up 3 more runs in the 5th and recorded only 1 out before he was removed.
