RED SOX POSTCAST: Ceddanne Rafaela Has a NIGHT & Red Sox Take Opener vs. Giants

The Red Sox (40-37) moved to 3 games over .500 for the 1st time since late April with Friday night's 7-5 win over the Giants at Oracle Park in San Francisco. The Sox were down 3-0 early on and came away with their 16th comeback win of the season. The Sox have won 8 of 9, 10 of 12 and 11 of 14. Aroldis Chapman worked a 1-2-3 9th with 2 strikeouts to record his 14th season of the season. Rafael Devers went 0-for-5 in his 1st game against his former Club.  -----Sox at the Dish: David Hamilton and Ceddanne Rafaela both hit Home Runs in the Red Sox comeback win Friday night. Rafaela hit a solo shot in the 6th, his 7th, and that put the Red Sox up 6-5. Jarren Duran collected 2 hits and a stolen base, his 15th of the season.       -----Sox Pen: The Red Sox used 6 relievers Brennan Bernardino, Zack Kelly, Justin Wilson, Greg Weisser, Garrett Whitlock, and Aroldis Chapman in the series opener.  The 6 relievers combined for 5 scoreless and the Sox bullpen has worked 17.2 scoreless over the last 5 Games.  -----Roster Moves: Wilyer Abreu was activated before the series opener against the Giants Friday night, and he went 2-for-4 with a Double & RBI at the plate.
