RED SOX POSTCAST: Red Sox Drop Finale to Blue Jays & Have Lost 7 of 8

The Red Sox (41-44) dropped the series finale, 5-3, to the Blue Jays Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park. The Jays took 2 out of 3 in the series and are now 7-3 vs. the Sox on the season including 5-2 at Fenway. The Sox have dropped 3 straight series.   -----Walker in the Finale: Walker Buehler gave up back-to-back Home Runs (on 2 consecutive pitches) in the 1st Inning to Addison Barger and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.  After allowing the Home Run to Guerrero, Buehler retired 10 in a row before he ran into trouble in the 4th. Buehler gave up a 2-out, RBI Single to Andres Gimenez and a bases loaded walk to Tyler Heineman that made it 4-2.  Carlos Narvaez picked off Jonatan Clase at 1st to end the inning and escape any further Damage. Buehler went 4.0 Innings and allowed 4 Earned Runs on 4 Hits. He walked 3 and struck out 3.         16 1st Inning runs. 5 HR in 1st Inning.   -----Sox at the Dish: Carlos Narvaez led off the home 2nd with his 7th Home Run of the season that landed just inside the Pesky Pole down the right-field line. Trevor Story followed with a single and stolen base, and he scored on an RBI Double from Ceddanne Rafaela. The Red Sox had 2nd & 3rd & 1 out in the 5th but failed to score. Wilyer Abreu, pinch-hitting for Refsnyder, Popped Up on the infield and Narvaez grounded weakly to 2nd.  -----#'s of the DAY: Story stole 2nd and scored in the 2nd inning, and he is now a perfect 13-for-13 in stolen base tries this season. Rafaela now has 11 extra-base hits and 13 RBIs in June. The Sox are 6-6-1 in their 13 series at Fenway this season. Garrett Crochet is scheduled to face Reds' rookie Chase Burns.
