RED SOX POSTCAST: Red Sox Swept in Milwaukee; Devers Continues to Make Teams Pay

The Red Sox (27-31) suffered another rough loss, falling to the Milwaukee Brewers 6-5 in 10 Innings Wednesday afternoon at American Family Field. The Red Sox have lost 5 in a row overall and 6 in a row on the road. Ceddanne Rafaela & Wilyer Abreu both hit solo Home Runs in the loss. Justin Slaten gave up 2 runs in the Bottom of the 10th and took the loss. -----Bello on the Bump: Brayan Bello made his 8th start overall and just his 3rd road start of the season in the series finale on Wednesday.  The 26-year-old was unable to get thru 5 innings for the 5th straight start.  Bello went 4.2 Innings and allowed 2 runs (1 earned run) on 3 hits. He walked 2, struck out 2 and gave up a leadoff Home Run to Jake Bauers to start the 3rd Inning. With the loss, the Sox are now 5-3 in Bello's 8 outings.    -----#'s of the Day: Rafael's solo Home Run in the 2nd was his 3rd of the season and 1st in 88 at-bats. The Red Sox are now 24-15 when they hit a Home Run and   17-9 when scoring 1st.  The Red Sox are also 4-6 in extra-inning games and 0-5 on the road.    -----What's On Tap?: After Thursday's scheduled day off, the Red Sox will open a 3-game series in Atlanta against the Braves on Friday.  Lucas Giolito is scheduled to face Grant Holmes in the opener Friday night at Truist Park. The Braves took 2 of 3 at Fenway on the Red Sox last homestand.
