One would argue that the 2021 NHL Draft does not have a clear-cut number one draft pick. That being said, we have almost no idea who is going to fall to number 6. So I took a look at the draft from different prospect ranking pools, like Dobber, Elite Prospects, and TSN to find out who would be the ‘best available’ for the Detroit Red Wings to draft at the number 6 spot. The conclusion is that we’ll be pretty happy with the results, we may be able to trade back, and there is no consensus, even at the number one spot.Episode sponsored by Draft Kings.
