Redcoat- The Revolutionary Immortal of Geoff Johns' "Unnamed Universe"

In this week's episode, Ryan makes Jamie read a non-superhero comic to keep him sane. That comic being issues 1-7 of the currently ongoing series, Redcoat. Created by Geoff Johns and Bryan Hitch, inked by Bryan Hitch & Andrew Currie, and colurs by Brad Anderson. They also go on tangents about the wider "Unnamed" comic universe from Ghost Machine, the pros and cons of immortality, the trend of fictionalized historical events, and whistling (for some reason). Plus, a mini Thunderbolts* review. Timecodes00:00 - Intro02:10 - Ghost Machine/Unnamed Universe07:28 - Comic Credits and Overall Thoughts10:25 - Starting with the Arting14:19 - Whistling Tangent17:06 - Back to the Arting25:01 - Story with Minimal Spoilers42:54 - Full Spoilers49:03 - Apples Tangent51:55 - Back to the Spoilers1:02:50 - Quick Thunderbolts* reviewYouTube- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_2GA9q40JoBmnbOrkjGuJg Apple Podcasts- https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-comic-literate-podcast/id1670647884 Spotify- https://open.spotify.com/show/4hd5lO43gSZyyh5UEmcq2U?si=NOE0uX4iRHWGDwIoCRfndQ Google Podcasts- https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy50cmFuc2lzdG9yLmZtL3RoZS1jb21pYy1saXRlcmF0ZS1wb2RjYXN0Pocket Casts- https://pca.st/r8b1cyg7Comic Stan- https://youtube.com/@comicsstan-q1z?si=F9mxzO-eSmfWphWx
