Reddit Ghost Stories #7

In this episode of Encounters from the Beyond, Beth shares four chilling paranormal encounters submitted by Reddit users, each exploring a different facet of the unknown. The first story, “Shadow Person Seen by Me and My Father,” from ThrowAwayInItGirl, recounts a terrifying childhood moment when she saw a dark figure “darker than the darkness of the entire closet… wearing what looked like a trench coat and an old time 1920s gangster hat” moving inside her parents’ walk‑in closet. Frozen in fear, she ran to her father — who stunned her by saying, “I know, I see it too.” After he read passages from the Book of Revelation, the entity never appeared again. Next, “Unexplainable Childhood Memory,” from ExtensionPage1148, describes a surreal encounter with a tiny ghost‑like apparition. The witness recalls waking from a nap to see a “2 to 3 inch tall apparition shaped like a cartoon ghost… doing this little wiggly dance” right in front of a clock radio. Despite blinking and closing her eyes, the figure remained until she hid against her mother. She has never seen anything like it since. The third story, “The Ghost at My Old Job,” from AshleyU2, details years of subtle activity at a store that escalated dramatically after a customer died of a heart attack in aisle #2. Soon after, every bottle in the aisle mysteriously burst overnight — “one minute everything was fine and then the next the bottles had all exploded.” Later, after a store expansion, toys began activating on their own, employees felt cold breaths and unseen touches, and Ashley herself witnessed a warehouse shutter door opening without the required key. Security footage even showed a “black figure standing directly in front of me” though nothing was visible in person. The final story, “Cat Ghosts or Just Unusual Phenomena?” from WanderingChi, explores a series of strange events centered around the graves of two deceased cats that were moved closer to the house. Family members report pressure on their bodies at night, floating white orbs, phantom claw sounds, and vivid dreams of deceased pets. The living cat also reacts to unseen presences, staring toward the laundry room at night. The storyteller wonders whether these experiences — along with past paranormal events from childhood — are connected to the relocated graves or something deeper. throwawayinetgirl https://www.reddit.com/r/Paranormal/comments/1ki43nf/shadow_person_seen_by_me_and_my_father/ Extension-Paint-1148 https://www.reddit.com/r/Paranormal/comments/1ki1erg/unexplainable_childhood_memory/ ashleyu2 https://www.reddit.com/r/Ghoststories/comments/1jvdm3y/the_ghost_at_my_old_job/WanderingChi https://www.reddit.com/r/Paranormal/comments/1l4j2m9/cat_ghosts_other_or_just_unusual_phenomena/ For donations: If you are enjoying this podcast and would like to help out financially you can do so at https://buymeacoffee.com/encountersfromthebeyond your contributions are always appreciated!
