Redeemed In Christ
from Christian Spirituality on SermonAudio Hosted by John Blevins III
In Ephesians 1:7–12, Paul reveals that God's saving work in Christ extends far beyond the forgiveness of sins. Through three glorious truths- redemption, revelation, and inheritance- we see how God graciously redeems His people, unfolds His eternal purpose to unite all things in Christ, and secures an everlasting inheritance for His adopted children. Christ's blood has purchased our forgiveness, God's sovereign plan is unfolding according to His perfect will, and our future is secure in Him. These blessings are not earned through human effort but freely given according to the riches of God's grace. This sermon calls believers to rest in Christ's finished work, live under His lordship, and trust His promises amid life's uncertainties. From our redemption to our eternal inheritance, all things are to the praise of God's glory.
