Redefining What Nice Looks Like

from Cathy Speaks

Sometimes being nice doesn't look "nice". We get programmed that nice means you have to be considerate of everybody else and never hurt other peoples feelings with the expectation that you ignore your feelings and needs. This actually drains our energy and is not very helpful to others or you. There are times when you need to be nice to yourself by being firm with others and it can be uncomfortable. In this episode I give you a few suggestions of what you can do when you need to stay true to yourself by being nice in a totally different way. If this triggers you or you would like some additional guidance on how to be nicer to you please contact me clicking on the following link https://happytappygirl.com/contact-me/ Enjoy!
