Redefining Words and Stupid Kids

Well, they did exactly what I said they were going to do, and denied the recession based on "that's not what means recession anymore" which got me thinking about the broader problem of how we as a society have decided that if a word doesn't mean what we want it to, we will just change what it means, while still using it in the context we would have, but with the new definition that makes us happy. If you have listened to any previous episodes you know I take issue with that. Also, this may be because I am an old, but when did young people get so damn dumb? And I'm saying that as an individual who did plenty of dumb stuff as a youth. But these kids today are on an entirely different level of stupid.
