Redemptive Suffering

from Kingdom Moments with Rusty Thomas · host Rusty Thomas

What I share in this episode:. The frigid storm “Heather” we faced during the Stand with the 10 tour as well as updates on the trial.. My experience in doing rescues where we literally put our bodies in front of abortion clinic doors to intervene for the babies going to be murdered.. How we are not invincible superheroes. We are subjected to various temptations and feelings just like everyone else but how we are able to cross the lines of obedience with courage. . The two issues we have to come to terms with in order to be effective in the spiritual battle.. The two reasons we suffer on this earth.. What God’s presence feels like in the midst of danger and persecution and how His love changes the way you see your persecutors.. Learning obedience by the things we suffer.. What is responsible for the church’s growth. ( and no, it’s not social media and marketing). What is the great crime that is being committed?. A prophetic word towards those who condemn the innocent.References for this episode:. Acts 4:23-31. ”We love the old saints, missionaries, martyrs, and reformers. Our Luthers, Bunyans, Wesleys and Asburys, etc... We will write their biographies, reverence their memories, frame their epitaphs, and build their monuments. We will do anything except imitate them. We cherish the last drop of their blood, but watch carefully over the first drop of our own.” - A.W. Tozer. 1 Peter 2: 20-26Resources:www.archurch.netwww.rustythomas.org
