Redhawks' Perfect Season Ends, NCAA Fate Uncertain

Miami Ohios Redhawks, with a near-perfect 31-1 record, saw their perfect season end in a shocking upset. Despite holding an 11-point lead late in the game, they lost to UMass in the MAC Tournament, leaving their NCAA Tournament chances uncertain. Their weaker non-conference schedule and fewer quality wins from the MAC have put them on the bubble, with some arguing that teams from bigger conferences deserve spots over them. As Selection Sunday approaches, the Redhawks fate hangs in the balance, highlighting the importance of strength of schedule in college basketball.
