The novel follows a journey of five women in Uruguay during the Uruguayan dictatorship of the 1970's, and over the course of 35 years. These women become friends, sometimes romantic partners, but ultimately family. This story will show the realities of trauma, realities of dictatorship in Montevideo, homophobia, and the sanctuary the women built in Cabo Polonio as well as a small haven in Montevideo.
