Redistricting 2021: A Panel Discussion

from KZMU Public Affairs · host KZMU Public Affairs

For the first time in decades - longer than most can remember - local voting district boundaries will be redrawn in Grand County. Elected officials are hoping community members get involved so the redistricting effort is a collaborative, transparent process. The Grand County League of Women Voters and KZMU recently hosted a discussion on potential communities of interest and how to avoid partisan bias. Panelists are Grand County Republican Party Chair Cricket Green, Grand County Democratic Party Chair and current county commissioner Kevin Walker, and Independent Stephen Stocks, who chaired the form of government study committee. Hosted by Eve Tallman, of the Grand County League of Women Voters. Tune in!
