The Cincinnati Reds bounced back in a big way, defeating the St. Louis Cardinals 4-1 on Sunday afternoon. Andrew Abbott continued his All-Star caliber season with 7 strong innings, allowing just one earned run. Matt McLain got things started early with a solo homer in the first inning, extending his hit streak to 10 games, while Elly De La Cruz added an opposite-field double that helped plate another run. The Reds snapped their three-game skid and have now won 10 of their last 15 contests.
