The Cincinnati Reds edged the San Francisco Giants 2–1 on Tuesday night at Great American Ball Park, powered by a pair of timely swings and a lockdown pitching effort. Brady Singer delivered one of his sharpest outings of the young season, working six innings of one‑run baseball while keeping San Francisco off balance throughout. Cincinnati’s bullpen took it from there, stacking three scoreless frames to preserve the lead. Offensively, the difference came from two solo homers—one from rookie Sal Stewart and another from Spencer Steer—providing just enough firepower to secure the win.
