The Cincinnati Reds dropped a close one to the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday night, falling 3-2 in a tightly contested game. Despite a solid outing from Hunter Greene, who allowed two runs over five innings, the Reds couldn't come up with the timely hit they needed to swing momentum in their favor. Tyler Stephenson and Spencer Steer led the offense with three hits each, with Steer driving in both of Cincinnati's runs.
