The Cincinnati Reds fell to the Chicago Cubs 7-3 on Sunday afternoon at Wrigley Field, continuing their struggles when playing from behind. Outside of Elly De La Cruz’s two-hit performance, which included an emotional two-run homer just a day after his sister’s passing, the Reds’ offense was largely lifeless. Cincinnati found themselves in an early hole and, as has been the pattern, failed to mount a serious comeback.
