Reds Rally with Dane Myers Heroics | Cleveland Guardians News

The Reds split a doubleheader with the Guardians, losing the opener 6-5 thanks to a crushing grand slam by Kyle Manzardo and shaky pitching, but roaring back in Game 2 with a gritty, team-driven win. JJ Bleday’s early homer and a dominant bullpen kept Cleveland in check, while Dane Myers delivered the game-winning run on a wild pitch after a smart baserunning sequence. The drama peaked in the ninth when Myers made a jaw-dropping leaping catch to seal the win — proving he’s not just a reliable outfielder, but a clutch hero for Cincinnati as they head into tonight’s game with momentum.
