Reds Trade Lowe for Rivera | Cleveland Guardians News

The Reds pulled off a surprising late deadline move, shipping veteran Nathaniel Lowe to Cleveland for 19-year-old pitching prospect Alejandro Rivera — who’s already flashing elite stuff with a 3.06 ERA in low-A. With only two trades this season — one netting no player — fans wonder why they didn’t cash in more, especially on assets like Brady Singer and Tyler Stephenson.
