Redus Era Begins in Peru | Rutgers Basketball News

Gary Redus, Rutgers women’s basketball’s new head coach, is already turning the program’s page with a bold vision: reclaim national glory. Fresh off his LSU title-winning assistant stint, Redus is building a faster, tougher team, prioritizing local talent and recruiting from his home state. His first test? A whirlwind trip to Peru for the FISU America Games — a chance to bond his roster, test his systems, and plant the seeds of a new era. With a rich history of Final Four runs and a championship game appearance to draw from, Redus is determined to restore Rutgers to Big Ten dominance, one international game at a time.
