When a kind woodcarver wishes for his puppet to become a real boy, a good fairy grants his wish. But now the wooden living puppet must learn the secret to becoming a real boy with the help of his appointed conscience Jiminy Cricket. The pair must face the challenges of growing up and the temptations of a world seeking to corrupt little boys. How do you live a life that is "real"? What are the dangers for children growing up? What does it look like for a boy to be brave, truthful, and unselfish? What does this children's story teach us about growing up and being good today?
