Cole Sprouse (Riverdale) plays a young horror fan working at an old movie house who finds himself talking to the hero of his favorite film projected on the screen. Upon further contact with this fictional character, it is soon revealed to him that it is in actuality the spirit of his murdered father. With his life in danger, the son attempts to figure out who killed his father, portrayed by Jason Ritter (Freddy vs. Jason) while also trying save the character within the movie.
