Ayer se convocó un referéndum en Suiza para decidir si se aumentaba de 4 a 6 semanas las vacaciones pagadas. El resultado fue un contundente 66'5% en contra de dico aumento. Y en los últimos 50 años han fracasado las 5 iniciativas populares buscando la reducción de la jornada laboral. Es significativo sin embrago que un tercio dela población activa sufre de ansiedad y fatiga, el 20% de los suizos de 55 años están fuera del mercado laboral por invalidez, y el 40% de las prejubilaciones involuntarias son por razones de salud. Además su jornada laboral es la más amplia de Europa, máximo legal de 45 horas semanales y la media efectiva de 42'4 horas semanales (41,4 en España). Diferentes culturas laborales...debemos aprender mucho unos de otros.
