Reflecting on 7 Years of Marriage Life

We got married 7 years ago. It was the middle of December and everyone was in the middle of the holiday hustle and bustle. I was in the middle of a nursing program in college. We had no money. I sold my car to pay wedding and honeymoon expenses. And yet, despite the challenges and hurdles, these past 7 years have been a journey of joy and growing love. Anyone who is married knows that all joy in marriage is the result of hard work, humility and wisdom. And these things don’t come naturally. As we look back at ourselves 7 years ago, we see two very different people. God has shaped and molded us so much these past few years. So many lessons learned through failure and repeated attempts.
