In the message entitled Reflection on the First Day You Stood in His Presence, the first in a series, our pastors remind us on the power of reflecting on having been made a secure son will do. Pastor Matt, Pastor Wade, and Elder Eric cause us to reflect on the first time we stood in his presence. In practicing this, we are learning that the impact and transformation those holy moments brought were not a one time transaction but a perpetual, ever progressing interaction with the presence of our father. Like Mephibosheth, we have been called to eat at the king's table every day. We have been granted sonship, but we must grow in security, so that we can gain ground, and govern what God has entrusted to us. He's remembered his covenant with us, but we have to grow into who he's already declared that we are!
