REFLECTIONS & FUTURE GROOVES

ElecSoul 225 – REFLECTIONS & FUTURE GROOVES This week’s episode is a special one, featuring a cover image of me at around seven years old—a little nod to the journey that’s led me here. There’s also a moment to reflect on the sad passing of Roberta Flack, a true soul music icon. Her voice and storytelling have left an undeniable mark, so I’ve included Reverend Lee to honour her legacy. Alongside deep and soulful selections from Brandee Younger, Gianni Brezzo, and Tall Black Guy, there’s a feature for Anchorsong, who will be headlining the next Sonar Sessions on 22 March at Studio 18, Stroud. He’ll be joined by our co-founder Sam Judd, bringing more beautiful soundscapes, and Neon Pumps, who will set the night off with high-energy vibes. More special guests to be announced soon! Tickets are on sale now from £15 advance, £20 on the door—grab yours here: Sonar Sessions Ticket Link: https://skiddle.com/e/40632270 Tracklist: Roberta Flack – Reverend Lee The Circling Sun – Bones Brandee Younger – Livin' And Lovin' In My Own Way Gianni Brezzo – Fine With Me Tall Black Guy Productions – De La Soul x Tall Black Guy – Itzsoweezee (With Posdnuos) Anchorsong – Last Feast Caiiro, Shimza – Nyali (Original Mix) Louie Vega – Elements Of Life – Dusk On The Beach (Original Mix) Diplomats Of Soul, Incognito, Vanessa Haynes – Sweet Power Your Embrace (Terry Hunter & Emmaculate Reprise) Julio Bashmore – Sprungboard (Extended Mix) Men From The Nile, Peven Everett, Roy Davis Jr. – Watch Them Come (Green Velvet Remix) Karizma – Spirit Caiiro, Shimza-Nyali www.djrobbieduncan.com
