"Any Israelite or any alien living among them who eats any blood–I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people." ------- Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. . . The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life." -------- “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
