"Reflections on Vietnam: Unraveling the Myths and Lessons of a Disastrous War"

"Welcome to this week's edition of Scheer Intelligence, where Robert Scheer welcomes CIA veteran Ray McGovern to dissect the pivotal moment marking the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon. As two Bronx natives who've taken very different paths—one into the heart of intelligence and the other into journalism—these compelling discussions will challenge the narratives that have misled us for decades. Join us as we uncover the truth behind the Vietnam War, explore the consequences of military strategies fueled by misinformation, and reflect on how these lessons resonate with today’s global tensions. What does it mean for our understanding of nationalism, communism, and the current geopolitical landscape? Tune in for an insightful conversation that promises to shed light on the past, inform the present, and guide our collective future."
