Refreshing Pod - Hogmanay Preview 2024 It's 3 Years in a row ... Johnny & Al catch up ... Al's quite the deal, he's the big boss of all things Hogmanay! New Year celebrations will soon kick in, 2025 is just over the shoulder. Al Thompson has been kind enough to spare some time to chat with Johnny (for the 3rd year in a row) about how Edinburgh will celebrate this year. Revellers from around the globe will decent on Edinburgh for four days of incredible events! Including the legendary Street Party. Celebrations will kick off with the Torchlight Procession, creating a river of fire through the historic Old Town on 29 December. Texas & Callum Beattie will see out 2024, and welcome in 2025 with the Concert In The Gardens. The Night Afore, Hot Dub Time Machine will lead the Disco Party at West Princes Street Gardens, while the Assembly Rooms will host a night of indie rock music featuring Idlewild. Find out what Hot Dub Time Machine has in store for 'The Midnight Moment' when the fireworks go off, and what you can do during the whole 4 days on Hogmanay. Plus, Al get's a little emotional (ish) when chatting about Christmas times past ... therapy could be needed. Have a great Hogmanay!!
