Every year millions of people are forced to flee their homes in search of safety. Refugee Week is Australia’s peak annual activity to inform the public about refugees and celebrate positive contributions made by refugees to Australian society. The theme of Refugee Week 2022 is Healing. - 'ਰਿਫਿਊਜੀ ਵੀਕ' ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਨਾਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਉਸਾਰੂ ਯੋਗਦਾਨਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਦਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਨਾਰਥੀ ਹਫ਼ਤਾ 19 ਜੂਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈਕੇ 25 ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ 20 ਜੂਨ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ 'ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸ਼ਰਨਾਰਥੀ ਦਿਵਸ' ਵਜੋਂ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
