Refuting the Theory of Imminence

Ron Wallace will revisit the theory of the "imminent return" of Jesus Christ and show that the Bible indicates there are at least 9 separate factors that refute that theory. The theory of imminence has been taught by others and clearly refuted: The disciples did not expect the Lord's return in their lifetime; Nor could the Lord return until several major events would occur first; The return of the Lord will not, and cannot, be imminent UNTIL the antichrist arises and begins the tribulation at the midpoint of Daniel's 70th week; It is after that event that it can be said, "no one knows the day or hour."
