Host Dr. Devin McFadden, MD is joined by Dr. Lisa Fortier, DVM, PhD on the AMSSM Sports Medcast to discuss regenerative medicine technologies and the current evidence for their use. Dr. Fortier is a Professor of Surgery at Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, New York, with a particular interest in translational research including the prevention of post- traumatic osteoarthritis. In addition, her internationally renowned research investigates the clinical application of stem cells and biologics such as platelet-rich plasma and bone marrow concentrate for cartilage repair and tendinosis.
