REGIONAL: Lake Benton fishing tournament winners

LAKE BENTON — The team of Greg Stuefen and Don Kruger won the 2026 Lake Benton Sportsman’s Club fishing tournament conducted at Norwegian Creek County Park on Saturday, June 6. The pair caught two walleye weighing 9.48 pounds. The team of Chris and Nick Stassen won “big fish” honors for catching a 10.23-pound northern. The team of Lowell and Pam Scholtes placed second overall, reeling in three walleye weighing 7.23 pounds. Other teams that placed were: Austin and Brady Dekam and Jordan and Jaxyn Rolling. Tournament organizers reported 30 boats were entered in the event. Article Link
