REGIONAL: Saddle Horse Holiday in Lake Benton from June 17-20

One of the longest-running town festivals is the Dakota-Minnesota Saddle Horse Holiday. This marks the 80th annual event, which began on Monday with the Miss Lake Benton Pageant and runs through Saturday, June 20. This year’s pageant contestants were Rozlynn Thooft, Sydney DeVries and Angie Deutz. Starting this past Tuesday, there were daily hidden horseshoe clues. Find the clues through Friday, June 19. There is a disc golf tournament and community bean bag throwing contest at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 17 from Hole- in-the-Mountain Park. There is no entry fee.
