MARSHALL — The Southwest Minnesota State University wheelchair basketball team placed fourth in the nation on Saturday, April 4. SMSU, which entered the national tournament as the No. 6 seed, lost to the fifth-seeded University of Illinois, 61-50, in the third-place game of the National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament in the McKale Center. SMSU defeated Eastern Washington and host Arizona before a loss to Auburn.
