Register for CERT training; event volunteers needed

The Wilson County Office of Emergency Management will sponsor a three-day Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) basic training course May 15-17 at the Wilson County Emergency Operations Center, 802 10th St.— next to the sheriff’s office — in Floresville. This tuition-free course will provide the knowledge and skills that citizen volunteers need to effectively serve their community by focusing on efforts to prepare for local emergencies and respond to them.
