We get to see the good, the bad, and the ugly side of people - real people, just like us.But what the writers do make clear is that there is only one hero, and that is Jesus. In fact, whoever wrote the book of Hebrews ascribes to Jesus the title, champion. Our so-called ‘heroes of the Bible’ were not heroes at all, they were real people like us.
