Reiki Energy Healing with Heather Finch

Reiki is a Japanese form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. Who can use it and more importantly, is it finally the proof I've been looking for, that there is more to the world we live in besides the 3 dimensional, physical world we all see, feel and hear. To tackle this topic, I welcome to the show Reiki Master Teacher, Heather Finch, but below is some additional information from Heather's Reiki development group:The word Reiki translates from Japanese as Universal Life-Force Energy. The first character translates as Universal Wisdom. The second part (Ki) translates as Life-Force Energy. Together they mean Life-Force Energy guided by Universal Wisdom.Ki or Life-Force energy is present in all things, plants, animals and even the earth and rocks.Reiki is a universal Spiritual Energy that promotes and maintains all life and is of a higher frequency than we are. Universal Life-Force (Ki) is know in other cultures as Prana, Jesod, etc. But energy is energy no matter what name it is called.Reiki can be learned by anyone; it is not connected to any religion but embraces and enhances all beliefs. Reiki is connected to the wisdom and energy of the Universe and to our higher self.Reiki uses Universal Life-Force for balancing the mind, body and spirit and helps us to recognize what is out of balance in our lives and gives us the insight to act upon it. Reiki works on the underlying cause of dis-ease, be that physical or emotional and enhances spiritual growth and understanding.The technique is a simple hands on healing system using Universal Life-Force to heal the person for their highest good. It can be used for self-healing and to heal others. Using Reiki regularly on yourself and others helps promote health an well-being. It balances the energy system and cleanses the body of toxins.
