Reiki for Sexual Abuse Survivors

Pam Allen-LeBlanc, Karen Caig, and Karen Harrison discussed how to use Reiki to heal sexual abuse.  Pam began with a beautiful meditation.  Karen Caig shared her perspective as a survivor and the lingering damage that occurs.  Karen Harrison shared her perspective as a counselor and Reiki therapist, including Reiki techniques she had used with survivors.  Helping clients to feel safe in session is a top priority.  With Reiki, the client doesn't need to share much about the experience but can simply receive healing that goes deep to clear out trauma.
