Reiki, the Healing Power of Energy, and Protecting Yourself with Kim Schweitzer

I'm so excited to bring you my amazing friend Kim Schweitzer today!  Kim and I have known each other for a long time, and a few months ago she offered to do a reiki session for me, and the experience blew me away.   I'm not going to lie, as "woo" as I am, I didn't have any experience with reiki and was pretty skeptical about what the session was going to be like, but today we're letting you behind the scenes of my session and some of the fascinating things that came out of it, and Kim is giving us an education and teaching us about this unique alternative practice.   Kim has long known she was a healer, long before she even knew what a healer even was and even longer still she has identified as being an artist. It is only in becoming a Reiki Master that she understood the two were intertwined. Kim now assists others through the usage of art, reiki and intuitive healing to alchemizing their darkness into a thing of beauty. First and foremost, this is a conversation about energy, and a new understanding of how everything works at an energetic level.  Kim is totally a teacher at heart and really breaks things down for us in a beautiful way that I've never heard explained before.   On top of that, we're diving into some reiki 101, base-level knowledge of the chakras, and most interestingly, protecting our energy in various ways, including how we can end up taking on the energy of the people we have sex with.
