Welcome to Episode 187!!  Gurl, have The Boys got one for you this week!!?  Everywhere you turn everyone is discussing the cultural phenomenon taking the world by storm; from the water cooler (yes, Virginia, they still have those in some offices), to living rooms the world over, to cell phones, watch parties, and even, your Teams calls!  That's right --- it's Baby Reindeer, now streaming on Netflix. 

The limited series is "based on a true story", starring Richard Gadd as himself, is all the rage and certainly has had Casey & Mark a buzz.  It's become quite the controversial show in media. While the basic outline of the story Gadd and Netflix have been upfront to say many of the events are true, lived experiences by Gadd and the story is told moreover through notes, emails, and other communications between Gadd and a woman called "Martha".  Well, last week (as you may have heard), "Martha" aka Fiona Muir Harvey agreed to be interviewed by the controversial Piers Morgan.  And let's just say the interview did not disappoint and in true Painted Trash Podcast fashion, The Boys are diving into the conversation, bringing exclusive tea and giving their opinions on the show as well as weighing in on where the truth lies following the interview. (see what I did there?)  This is a hot topic (not at the mall --- though we wish, amiright?) and Casey is bringing exclusive tea!!

It may have been a minute since their last episode what with responsibilities and living, but The Boys are picking right up where they left off discussing a bit of the short break and pondering what reimagined friend's gatherings might look like without food involved or centered around.  Trash Talk topics this week include the "return" of the not real Kitara Rivanche, a suburb of Calgary is seeking to ban a small controversial club, and Reindeer Tea!

Y'all, The Boys are firing on all cylinders this week and you don't wanna miss all the tea and discussion surrounding Baby Reindeer!  So pour yourself a nice full pour of your favorite springtime port vintage, be sure your diaper is fresh, and pull up a chair at the table with your GBFFs because it's time to paint!
