Even though God's Word clearly states in 1 Corinthians that "the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire". So, why would we even entertain this notion? Well, it's simple; outright control & spiritual blindness! In fact, the Pharisee's lust for control & spiritual blindness caused them to harbor prejudice when investigating the miracle of Jesus healing the sight of the blind man.
