Rejoice in the Truth
from Kitchener Baptist Church Hosted by Kitchener Baptist Church
In this sermon, the call to rejoice in the Lord is highlighted, emphasizing that true joy stems not from personal accomplishments but from God's completed work through Jesus Christ. This message explores how the anticipation and experience of this divine accomplishment are central to the believer's rejoicing. This message delivers a stark warning against false teachers, who are characterized as "dogs," "evil workers," and "grievous wolves." They promote a works-based salvation, contradicting the foundational truth that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone, without any human boasting. The sermon stresses the critical importance of knowing and being continuously reminded of God's truth, which acts as a safeguard against deception and error. It underscores that personal transformation and sanctification occur through the renewing of the mind by the truth of Scripture, guided by the Holy Spirit.
