Gordon adds that Dansby Swanson, the big free agent addition for the Cubs, had been better than advertised. Marcus Stroman is another talking point, leaving Kap to question whether the Cubs would consider extending him sooner than later after a hot start and appearing as if he’s settled into the team’s top starter.
