For the message, Mike read 1 Peter 2:4-9 and reflected on the ways in which God appears. Although we usually introduce God with complex theological language, God almost never introduces God’s self in this way. God appears with a promise, in the context of relationships, and with a reminder of how God has worked in the community before. What is the promise that reveals God’s presence to you?
